The Aarogyahaar Approach to Medicine
We, at Aarogyahaar, practice functional medicine with the combined efforts of practitioners, like doctors, nutritionists etc from different sectors to touch lives and make a difference.
We define health as not just the absence of disease, but a state of immense vitality. Your body is intelligent and has the capacity for self-regulation, which expresses itself through a dynamic balance of all your body systems. Your body has the ability to heal and prevent nearly all the diseases.
Our approach is in line with an evolution in the practice of medicine, that better addresses the requirements of the 21st century. We help empower BOTH the practitioner and the patient to achieve excellent results by first understanding the ‘why’, or the underlying cause of the diseaseBY: RAJAN MAHENDRA
To put this into perspective, let’s take the classic example of the iceberg:
The tip of the iceberg here are the diseases:
Diabetes, Arthritis, Auto Immune Diseases, Obesity etc.
However, the underlying causes have a vast range and can include factors like:
Hormonal imbalance, Metabolic imbalance, Toxic emotions, microbiome imbalances and a lot more!
At Aarogyahaar, our approach incorporates the latest in therapeutic nutrition, drug administration and understanding of how environmental and lifestyle factors influence the emergence and progression of disease. Our 2-pronged approach:
To battle chronic health conditions, we try to utilize two scientifically grounded principles:
• Add what’s lacking in the body to nudge its physiology back to a state of optimal functioning.
• Remove anything that impedes the body from moving toward this optimal state
To make it even simpler, your body naturally wants to be healthy, however, things needed by the body to function at its best might be missing, or something might be standing in the way of its best functioning. Hence, through our approach, we first identify the factors responsible for the malfunctioning and then deal with those factors in a way appropriate to the patient’s particular situation.
We also make sure to educate the patient about their own condition, hence empowering them to take charge of their own health, which ultimately leads to a greater success in treatment!
